Re: Heated Windscreen Unavailable
@Deputy, does yours not start on occasion if using the app? The only reason I can think for that being an issue is connection. I have had this but I’m in North Wales and we don’t even have reliable 3G here, let alone 4G. The manual states that it’s there to warm/cool the cabin so it should start to ...

Re: Inscription Pro seats MY21
Hi both. I’d definitely advise getting them back into the dealership. When mine goes in, if restrictions allow, I want a technician at the car so I can show him/her the issue and see if they agree. They must do as it’s as plain as the nose on my face. Also I did read, maybe here but definitely on ot...

Re: seat quality
@hamishxc40. Hi there. I was due to take mine back in for this as, if you press lightly on the seat pad, you can feel the solid plate underneath with practically no force at all. However, the appointment was postponed. I will still take it in at the earliest opportunity but I know what the answer wi...

Re: Heated Windscreen Unavailable
I've not had this myself but have read of some posters stating that their main display takes some time to load up. It may be the case that, as the systems are linked, you may need to allow the main screen to fully load before attempting press the button. Alternatively, you can set the heated screen ...

Re: Boot liner weight capacity
This is something I’ve thought previously and as already said, you’re wise to question it. The advice already given are ideas I’ve also considered but would probably have plumbed for supporting the cover as you mention. If the item was small but heavy, I’d probably lower the back seats and place the...

Re: What have you just found out about your XC40.
@72 Dudes. Max D’Frost is correct but I’d realised my mistake and changed it within minutes. Max must have seen my post immediately after I’d posted and started a reply but posted after I’d corrected as there was no reply from Max once I’d sorted it. Apologies for any confusion 👍👍 Max, great name bt...

Re: What have you just found out about your XC40.
A good reminder for everyone as the weather is either in and out of freezing, or constantly wet, is that a double press of the heated windscreen (for those cars that have it) engages ‘Max Defeost’.
I’m finding this really handy at the moment.

Re: What have you just found out about your XC40.
Folding seats. I recently had a play with rear folding the back seats on my MY21 Inscription Pro and if you haven’t already done this, be careful that you make sure that the middle seat belt clip is sitting on top of the seat before you lower it. And make sure it’s still in the same position when fo...

Re: Inscription Pro seats MY21
Thanks all. @eugen61, That’s a good point. I’ll certainly try your suggestion. I have tried playing with it quite a bit but will try again. To be honest, I’d rather get this sorted myself, rather than take it in so fingers crossed. @Dermottdog, that’s exactly it. That’s how I’m most comfortable for ...

Inscription Pro seats MY21
Hi All, I picked up an Inscription Pro (a B4) beginning of November. The car is fantastic but the drivers seat pad, more specifically the middle pad, is so thin that I’m sitting on a solid plate underneath the padding. It feels like I’m sitting on a wooden stool on a folded up towel. And I’m a prett...
