I don't have adaptive cruise control but the manual says there must be a car a reasonable distance in front. Are you trying to activate it parked up on your drive or during driving conditions?

Just for info as I have next to no knowledge of available improvements. Here in the UK we have two levels of audio - high performance and the Harmon Kardon upgrade, we don't seem to have the standard as you describe, unless they've changed things with the 2021 model. Best to have your phone, and anything else for that matter, to update when you want it to, rather than autoupdates. Just go into settings on various devices and switch off autoupdate.

Paying for a music service isn't for me. I tried the free month with Spotify and that was it. When I used it though, over the past month, it seemed fine as far as connection and speed. Shame it doesn't work with a free Spotify account.

Yes the brake lights will show. It's the same with cruise control as well as speed limiter, both will hold the speed downhill by applying the brakes and lights. It doesn't sit well with me, now I've found that's what it does. I see constantly applying the brakes as inexperience and poor driving. And...

Afternoon all, new to the forum and also to being a Volvo owner. Took delivery of a T4 Inscription AWD after a few months delay due to the Covid after being with Lexus for the last 6 years. Still getting used to discovering my way around the car as no handover or demonstrations of what’s in the car...
