Re: Bristol port delay
Daughter's car has arrived at the dealer. It does have the correct interior this time. However as suspected they seem unaware of the deal they are supposed to honour. Lots of " I will have to speak to my manager". She has already told them that she will walk away if they dont honour it. D...

Re: Xc40 broken into without key
So if the boot wasn't properly closed, then whilst you would have heard the central locking try to lock and the mirrors fold in, the alarm would not have been set The car is now sat there, open and with the boot not closed properly and the alarm isn't set. Thus no red flashing light So that kid is ...

Re: 2021 XC40 Front Fog Lights
I agree with gedger, the units on ebay suggest a complete unit. Even French XC40s dont have yellow fogs [/u], so you cant even look to other country specific units to fit. Whether volvo fit yellow in Japan i dont know, perhaps worth some research Other options are film (Lamin-X which is perhaps wha...

Re: Bristol port delay
To whom it may concern… The past week, farmers have been blocking the port of Zeebrugge, and other places. As of today February 3th 2024 the port is open again, but it will take a few days to normalize the situation, as a lot of trucks are waiting to get on the boat. Unfortunately, this means that a...

Re: Random electrical gremlins?
The learned gentleman does not answer my questions, but assumes a lot of things he does not know for a fact. Statements such as « … Volvo Technical apparently told the dealer they also had never seen the same issue, something that doesn't appear to be true » are no more than hearsay, at the very be...

Re: Random electrical gremlins?
A bit of an old thread, but we experienced the same issues with a five month old XC-40 B4 petrol/mild hybrid. Central console went black save for text headed 'Stop the Vehicle' unable to reset and fan at full blast (as had been delisting on freezing afternoon). Dashboard was largely blank except fo...

Re: First Volvo
Buzbox, With the UK responsible for less than 1.1% of global carbon emissions I won't be worrying about my MPG thanks. When I can no longer buy a new ICE vehicle I'll be seeking out something with a V8 and a 4 Choke Holley 😁 Other than being taxed into oblivion, what’s wrong with a V12 ? More serio...
