Re: Recall already!?

Yes home map is set. I only have and use UK map. I get fairly consistent "you need a software update" messages on a regular basis.

Occasionally the message is correct and I update my UK map. On all other occasions there are no other software updates available

Re: WiFi Vodafone SIM

Pity that you need a premium paid-for Spotify account. I only have a free account and it doesn't work with the Volvo app.

Re: Recall already!?

Re: Dashcam Connector

I was not happy fitting my Nextbase 312GW camera to the top of the windscreen in front of the passenger seat for safety reasons and the fact that it was directly in the passenger's line of sight. The problems with routing the power cable under trim or discretely on the surface also did not appeal. ...

Re: Recall already!?

If my XC40 is anything to go by you will find that the car is ALWAYS informing you of a non existent software update usually at least once per week. It's either nothing at all, certainly NOT a general car software update, or it's one of the other countries available on the satnav system. The fact th...

Re: Brake pad wear sensor - or lack of !

I've also experienced the brake failure message, warning me to pull over. After pulling over, using the car's brakes, which were fine!! I switched the car off and turned it on again. This cleared the message and I haven't seen it since. I agree about quality, this sort of thing is software related. ...

Re: MPG - Again :-)

Search the manual for "trip". Here's what it says: *************** Show trip data in the driver display The trip computer's recorded and calculated values can be shown in the driver display. The values are saved in a trip computer app. Via the app menu, you can choose which information is ...
