Re: V90 or XC40?

Well guys given the open ended corona delay and another mooch around a volvo dealer poking around the XC40 and V90 I've decided to cancel my order and take the V90 instead. The dealer has cost matched my XC40 T3 so it's an incredible deal given the £7k rrp price difference. Ultimately the XC40 is a ...

Re: V90 or XC40?

Well, I'm trying to change for a stock V90 but the broker wants to charge me £500 for cancelling the XC40 so having second thoughts...

PITA - get told its another 3m delivery delay due to CV but have to pay to a fine to get another Volvo. Argh!

V90 or XC40?

Guys due to production delays on the XC40 I'm thinking of leasing a V90 (that's already in forecourt stock) instead. The fact they can be leased at similar cost is also an incentive. Anyone come from or test driven the V90? My brother had one recently and, aside from how thirsty the T4 auto is (I do...

Re: What options do you regret not ordering?

Would have liked the whole 360 camera thing but the price is excessive. It's even worse now....it is only available in the lounge pack...which is £2,250 plus another £600 for Intellisafe surround is mandatory. To think Nissan include it in most of their Qashqais as standard Agree that the 360 parki...

Re: Car tax

Foxy it's mini wealth tax that gives people just enough of a hint of what life would be like under Labour so as not to do anything really stupid. Think of it as a shot across the bow.

Still narks me off that we haven't reformed council tax bands for what, 30 years now?

Re: MY21 LAUNCH

My philosophy is to keep things simple. Might be a pessimistic approach but if things can go wrong I've found they do go wrong. Sunroof's leak, Software is buggy, electronics fail, motors stop working. If I can get a basic spec with a decent engine, without all the bells and whistles, that works fo...

Re: MY21 LAUNCH

Lots of changes to the Packs as you say, the "Lounge" option looks like a big saving if you so happen to want a sunroof, 360 parking camera and HK stereo. As for my MY20 T3 Auto Inscription order all I can see changing is that the rear parking sensors have been replaced with a camera inste...

Re: Imminent, likely New Owner

My brother's experience with his V90 T4 put me off the engine, just ridiculously thirsty (26-28mpg), so I've plumped for the T3 in the hope I might see high 30s. The reviews give very variable outputs but mid to late 30s seems ballpark. Given that I do relatively low mileage (4-6k p.a.) you could ar...
