Re: Excessive Brake Wear
Thanks for your comments, I have spoken to the Dealer who said having the auto hand brake setting "on" might be a mitigating factor, except I don't, then said it was a visual estimate and they were wearing rate was "normal". I appreciate that driving style would influence wear bu...

Excessive Brake Wear
I have just had my 2nd service on my low mileage T4 AWD (Only 7,500 miles on the clock due to Covid and illness). Everything was fine with low, even, tyre wear but brake wear was 10% Front and 30% on the Rear. This certainly seems excessive on the rear, has anyone got an explanation as why it should...

Rear view Mirror and the flashing Blue light
Hi I was driving my XC40 this morning when I saw the flash of a "Blue" light out of the corner of my eye . I looked in the rear view mirror and saw I was being followed by a delivery van. I thought it might be an unmarked police vehicle but decided the spotty, youthful, driver didn't look ...

Re: Software Upgrading and Service Costs
Hi ChrisS777 did both the central display and the one in front of the driver go blank at the same time - then both restart 30secs later? If that was the case I can tell my dealer that my problem is not unique! Do you know which update you had or its date?
Thanks

The displays have gone blank!
I was driving home yesterday (carefully) in torrential rain when suddenly all displays went blank, there was no accompanying sound, but the engine didn’t falter, and no other issues were evident. After 20/30 very worrying seconds they both came back on. Then 5 minutes later the same thing happened. ...

Re: MY2O MY21 R Design.
Correct, the rear headrests cannot be folded manually, which causes an issue as I like the back of my seat angled slightly and this leads to the rear headrests catching on the seat back when being folded. (They have also removed the "close and lock" button on tailgate so you can only lock ...

Tailgate Buttons 1 or 2
The Manual for my late 2020 Inscription shows two buttons for closing the tailgate - one to close and one to close and lock. Mine only has the close button and a blank, is that now the norm?
It appears to mean that you can only lock the boot when you lock the car, is that correct?
Thanks

Re: Rear Head restraints
I have failed to locate any way to raise/lower or fold forward the rear outer headrests. So if anybody ever finds how to achieve this operation in 2020 (late) Inscription please let me know.
Thanks
