I know there was a discussion about the sizes of the temporary spare and full size wheels but I am more interested to know if anyone has actually tried to fit an 18" wheel into the spare wheel pan.

Re: Paintwork protection

I would spend more and get PPF for the bonnet, side mirrors, front wings and front bumper. That way you will protect from stone chips or even light bumper scuffs. Apply a high quality hybrid wax like Dodo Juice once a year for the rest of the car.

Re: Would You Buy Another

No more XC40 or Volvo for me: AWD in petrol is no longer available, not really a refined or luxury car for the price and appalling customer service. This was my first and will be the last Volvo. That is just my experience.

Re: All season tyres

I have Conti All Season Contact. They are good and a few years ago they were the best but there are better ones now. The only problem with the Conti is reversing in snow; not so good as they are unidirectional for aquaplaning. You have to decide what your priority is: dry braking, wet braking, corne...

Re: Engine System Service Required HELP!

Stoneacre has been terrible to the point that I will not purchase any car from them again although I am kind of locked in for the service with them. They ruined 4 brand new alloys and strangely admitted it but were not prepared to replace them with brand new ones.

So updated to 1443 using the USB whilst driving. On the drive out (still on 1436), the speed limits on the motorways and dual carriageways were displayed. On the drive back (1443 update) no speed limits was displayed on the same motorways or dual carriageways, there was an occasional national speed ...

Re: Rattles, squeaks and other niggles

Yes, vibration noise from the dashboard. The service also identified the noise but could not locate it. They said the only way to get rid of it was to dismantle the whole dashboard and reassemble it again. I didn't want that so I have to hit the side of the centre console and get a temporarily relie...

Good point. Thanks BuzBox.

Re: Interesting emission result

It was probably me not explaining it well.

I just wondered if this actually is normal or a good sign for these engines provided that they did the test correctly.

Re: Interesting emission result

I didn't say Co2, I said Co (carbon monoxide). Who would have thought EV does not emit Co2 :?:
