Re: Replacing P-SIM after expiry with '3' 24-month SIM
Seems Three data sim is the de facto option. I have used this as well but since expiry I found this https://www.rwgmobile.wales/rates-plans-eng-per/ Using this I have found Spotify connects a lot faster and I seem to get better connection (think it piggy backs off EE network) - this is in East Londo...

Re: tempa spare wheel
The locking ring does screw into the bottom of the boot. Maybe silly question, but we are talking about the screw underneath the foam tool/jack holder?
Had the unfortunate chance to use the whole lot a few weeks back when the rear picked up some 4 inch screw!

Re: Dashcam Routing Cables
@agilefrog - you made it sound easy! Any tips for removing the trim? I undid the 8mm bolt and tried to pull off. No luck - stuck tight and not sure if further strength will break any catches or trim. Are the catches simple resistance based plugs or is there a slide and pull? Start at the top and pul...

Re: Dashcam Routing Cables
Fortunate post agilefrog. This has been nagging me a while now, so I looked up the curtain airbag information, but its not quite informative. So I googled the part and it seems the curtain airbag stretches from around the upper half of the A pillar and runs along the whole length to the C pillar. So...

Dashcam Routing Cables
Just wondered how and which route you use to route cables for their dashcams. I have a Viofo A129 dual with a rear camera. consisting of a main camera unit for the front and a smaller camera unit for the read connected via a cable. I have placed the front dashcam on the left side (RHD car) passenger...

No need to put on retention - the dealer can do it for you. There is a fee payable to the DVLA for this. Just ask the dealer.

Re: What have you just found out about your XC40.
Don't think this has been mentioned, but a double click of the mirror button alternates between dipped and normal position. I find this useful as we have a parking space with a pillar at home so don't want to dip on reverse, but when parallel street parking I would like to dip the mirror.

Re: Sensus screen touch sensitivity
I have the exact annoying issue. I find a short sharp quick tap works best, but can take a few tries with the annoying scrolling. I sometimes try and just use the Sensus nav (with the dashboard nav screen which is great) and built in spotify. But sometimes feel I need to use Waze as that never lets ...

Re: ME & MUDFLAPS
I bought the genuine Volvo Mudflaps - rear only. I can’t understand paying, in my case £40k, and skimping on cheap accessories from the likes of AliExpress and eBay. Each to their own I suppose. I agree. However, I wouldn't throw good money away, so ordered a pair of genuine ones from a dealer that...
