Re: Wiper failure

I've had no end of problems with my T4 R-design... Wiper Failure Auto hold Failure Handbrake Failure Traction Control Failure Stability Control Failure ABS Failure Amp Failure on the sound system... The list goes on. It's spent a total of 12 weeks with Volvo with updates done but no definite answer ...

Re: MPG - Again :-)

600 miles on the clock, mixed driving in T4 R-Design FWD and average of 30ish mpg on the trip. Real world I suspect is somewhat lower although it needs bedding in for a while first.

Re: Delivered a week early with wrong wheels!

You've done more miles than me already! Had it 2 weeks and only done 350. Re: Delivered a week early with wrong wheels!

Yeah, the more I compare the 18's next to the 19's the more aesthetically pleasing they are. I love the colour too!

Re: Delivered a week early with wrong wheels!

When it is your word against theirs it is always going to be a nightmare so i think you have done the best thing. Out of curiosity how much are they at cost? I'm not sure to buy as a set, bit the upgrade price from 18's on a factory build is £525. They are doing them at £400 and despite my best eff...

Re: Delivered a week early with wrong wheels!

They are legally contracted to supply you with the specification you ordered. You have every right to insist they put the correct wheels on. If it is easier or cheaper for them to leave the 19" wheels on then you may choose to accept that, but personally, I wouldn't pay a penny more. It's not ...

Re: Delivered a week early with wrong wheels!

Would that not cause a difference in the speedo and mileage recording? No, because the rolling diameter of the tyre won't change - smaller rims are fitted with larger profile tyres and vice versa. The more exact answer is that there might be very small changes (eg 1-2%) because low and high profile...
