Re: New XC40 collected, no Volvo on call set up

Congratulations on the new car. Did the dealership fit the Vodafone SIM in the car for you? and id they set it up or ask you too? This needs to be completed before you can setup the car wifi. As for the Volvo on Call - I had the same problems, best thing to do is get in the car and hit the Volvo on ...

Now i have a courtesy V90 T5 Cross-Country and...

Re: Auto stop start disabled

Stop/Start works all the time on my XC40, its smooth stopping and starting so I just leave it on now.

Re: Keyless Entry & Relay Attacks

There is a lot of scare mongering about relay thefts but truth is you just need to take a few basic steps to make it as safe as normal keys ( and in some examples safer!) BTW they do not hack the signal just relay the signal - that is why it is so easy and cheap to but these relay sets they use. 1)...

Blimey. Glad I took the 5 year service plan out😳
Same here - wow that's a lot for even a major service.
Probably to pay for all the PPE and other changes they have had to make.
That is a great point - someone is going to pay and it is not them!

Skyrimmer, did you have any extras for that price?
Nope. I think it was just the going rate for a major service without a service plan.
Car was fully valeted though.

Re: Emissions Warning Light

I expected this place to be full of post with people having problems with the particle filters and batteries running low.
