Don't use mine - it's too jerky.
If one is able to do good hill starts and apply / release park brake manually ( as in the old days) then it seems to be a superfluous item.

Heater fan constantly blew hot air for 20 mile drive no matter what temperature was set
Had to switch off heating / AC system and open windows.
The problem self rectified after car parked overnight. ????

ps the same is true of some diesels with a manual dipstick.
The electronic guage is not misreading, nor temperamental.
It's just that a manual dipstick does not " tell" you.

Yes, have had the high oil level issue, explanations, oil change, service.
Noticed level after last dealer service was only half way along the bar graph.
Conclusion I reached was not to add oil unnless / until bar graph display is at ( or nearly at) left hand " low" end.
