Re: Price increases

Version 8 of the MY21 brochure is out and there are some massive price increases :o All models increased in price by £20. Options remain the same apart from metallic paint up by £10 and retractable towbar increases by £15! I wonder how much it costs to print the brochures? I would say that t...

Re: What have you just found out about your XC40.

I have learned that if I drive carefully, that I can achieve 37MPG from my B4 and I think I can do better. Best ‘Life-Saver’ feature on my car is the active speed limiter that adjusts the cars speed according to the road signs. I am so pleased that I opted for AWD now we have seen 3” of snow on unt...

Re: Key fob fault

Hi All, The 'open' button on my key fob doesn't always work. The other 2 buttons work fine (so not the battery). My question is - Is the remote key fob covered by the Volvo warranty? Thanks and regards As already said, you need to replace the battery as a matter of course. The open button may have ...

Re: Inscription Pro seats MY21

Hi All, I picked up an Inscription Pro (a B4) beginning of November. The car is fantastic but the drivers seat pad, more specifically the middle pad, is so thin that I’m sitting on a solid plate underneath the padding. It feels like I’m sitting on a wooden stool on a folded up towel. And I’m a pret...

Re: Cricket Electronic Sound Only When Pressing Gas Pedal

So, I have a noise too. Happens after 50+ mph. If you have the radio down or it’s a quiet track, I hear a sort of clicking sound. I have found that all 4 widow switches ‘tick’. Now boys and girls, if you sit in your cars and move the window switch’s around (from side to side, not rocking them up an...

Re: Serious safety incident – Volvo XC40 recharge

That sounds hideous. I’d be tempted to report this to the DVSA (details on .gov.uk web site). They can withdraw a vehicle’s certification or order a recall. Yes! This is outrageous, reminded me of a scene from the dystopian movie "Upgrade", where a fully autonomous car inexplicably speeds up and cr...
