I thought I'd read somewhere that they'd closed another place down. I may be wrong though.

But if the problem is a lack of drivers/transporters I can't see how using another port will help?

We've been with LV for cars and house insurance for years as well as increases have been within the point at which I start looking elsewhere but if renewals in a few months time are anything like yours I will be kissing them goodbye. If it was by grabbing the key signal, which has been pretty much discounted then the thief wouldn't have needed to open the boot door first would he.

It does sound as though access was gained using the app but as said how did he access that?

Yeah, saw that. I'd had a look on a Lexus forum and a few guys were complaining about insurance hikes.

Not confined to Lexus of course and their security issues as many of us are getting renewal quotes way above inflation. Fingers crossed when I get mine in a few months time.

Funnily enough I noticed something different with the lights when driving home on Saturday night so perhaps it is a result of the software update?

When driving today I noticed when coasting downhill that when I braked the engine restarted on a number of occassions . Perhaps this is a result of the "several minor drive system and power supply adjustments"? If so, that remedies a criticism of mine in having to use the accelerator to re...

At least Lexus/Toyota seem to be being open and honest about the issue and are providing details and are taking steps to mitigate it.
