Re: New software update 3.0.3

That's ironic given that EU regulations also stipulate noise levels from vehicles!

As I've said before my brakes are quiet, unlike the ones on my R-Design which used to groan at very slow speed.

Re: New software update 3.0.3

I had a spell when it didnt but then it did it a couple of times recently but since then it hasn't done it. Journeys I've been doing lately only involve moderate braking though rather than using twisty roads. Does seem improved though.

Re: New software update 3.0.3

Set mine going last night. I'll be more interested when (and if) they make significant changes where you can actually see or feel the difference, driver's display/ dash being one for me. What a waste of virtual cockpit capabilities, one of the worst I've seen in any car. What are these driveline cha...

Re: Second Car

Thanks Andy. Have decided on a more sensible spec now, though still comprehensive, which comes out at a more reasonable £28.5k.

Next step is Carwow where I got a really good deal on my first XC40.

Re: Second Car

Thanks Krystof We were near the dealer this morning so dropped in to have a look. Wife's first words were "It's not that small is it". Grrr! After saying it's much smaller than the XC40 and more persuasion from me she agreed that was Ok. The interior is very nice and she really liked it so...

Re: Second Car

Thought about Mazda as one of our sons has a Mazda 2 which is a nice little car with a quality interior. CX30, whilst not as boxy as others is still a SUV and we don't really want another and I suspect to get the spec we want will be more than the Fabia? Mazda 3 is more what we are looking for but i...

Re: Second Car

Thanks eugen but we don't really want another SUV. Percymon, will look at alternatives but nothing much springs to mind as as I said want to stick to something simple enginewise. That Yaris Cross pricing is crazy. Could go for a cheaper car but don't want to go too small again, space in the back of ...
