Yes, it's what it's designed for. I turn it on as soon as I leave the drive and back off when I return as I want to creep close to the house. It's great in traffic and at junctions and traffic lights but as I said before I do turn it off for parking.

Unfortunately a backward step as on the earlier models you had a menu option to activate or not the parking brake when stopping the engine. Those with PHEV may chime in here as I don't have any experience of them, but unless you can afford a new car with a full manufacturers warranty I wouldn't touch anything other than an early (pre-2020 model year) T4 or T5.
