Had an argument with one service agent at one dealer who said it didn't need doing. I said I decide if it wants doing or not and I'm paying so took my business...

Re: Do 'manual' seats have the same adjustments as power ones?

Having had a previous car with electric seats and therefore a tilting squab it was a must have on the XC40.

My other car only has manual seats and I miss not having the squab tiltable. This might be an issue for your SO's comfort?

Re: Current XC40 would you purchase again

Trouble is many manufacturers are doing it. After many VW Group cars on the trot I came to Volvo because I could get what I wanted whereas with Audi/VW/Skoda I couldn't and not helped with the problems with their 1.5 petrol engine. And now Volvo are going the same way in forcing you to have things t...

Re: T5 Hybrid - some worrying faults.....

I think manufacturers are going to be much happier when cars are fully electric powered or whatever and they don't have to produce the bodge that are called hybrids and deal with the ever growing complexity of petrol and diesel engines with some of them struggling to produce reliable versions of the...

Re: T5 Hybrid - some worrying faults.....

It's funny how these glitches never show up when manufacturers are doing their extensive testing!

Mine still has ticket holder on A pillar (5 weeks old). If that’s a USP people are easily pleased!
My previous Yeti had one so if the XC40 hadn't it would have definitely been a downgrade! :D

Re: MY21 only 1 main key confirmed

Funny what you say about the salesman. For the demo we had to use an Inscription but then had a look at the salesmans R-Design (wonder why we couldn't try that?) and asked him to show my wife the powered tailgate we were interested in. He didn't know that you could restrict the opening that I had re...
