Re: Creaking in the heat

I've never noticed my XC40 doing that and I've been in some pretty ho weather in Arizona with it. I used to own one of the Pontiac mini vans that had a plastic body built a while back. That thing would creek and groan when driving in cold weather and really hot weather.

Re: Paint Quality, Airco & Other Things

From those pictures, to me this looks like something actually was deposited on the paint in droplets that has eaten through the clear coat. This does not look like a simple case of defective paint. The car could have been exposed to some type of chemical during transport to the dealership or perhaps...

Re: XC40 - voted very reliable

Good for Volvo - We've had our XC40 T5 now for 14 months. Have not had a single issue of any kind. When my wife decided this was the car she wanted I had some doubts - having heard about the XC90 problems a few years ago. When I looked at the car though I commented to her that this was the most Japa...

Re: Catalytic Convert

Where I live here in California - Toyota Prius are a huge targets for Catalytic converter thefts and they are low to the ground. In one neighborhood in a city not far from me 12 Prius were hit on one night. The thieves had a jack and simply lifted the cars and took a sawzall cordless saw and cut the...

Re: Volvo On Call App - "Windows Open"

It is considered to be a safety issue to not be able to close the windows without someone being there. I guess they are worried about someone getting caught in the window.
