Re: Wireless Charging Solution

Remember seeing a thread somewhere where the owner installed an aftermarket pad in the Volvo dash location, may have been on one of the Facebook XC40 groups?

Re: XC 40 Service Plan

stu22. Had my 1st year service a couple of months ago. Had only got an e mail from dealer stating that it was on the system but had received no paperwork to confirm that so was slightly worried that I would be charged. Dealership carried out the service and I was not billed so presume this is norma...

Re: XC 40 Service Plan

Getting back on track, we purchased a 3 year plan with our car. We received an invoice stating what we purchased but no other paperwork. I challenged our dealer and was told that it is recorded electronically on the Volvo system. Come first service we will find out......

Re: Imminent, likely New Owner

We also moved from a 2017 Tiguan to a T3.
Our Tiguan was also very efficient averaging 48mpg over 2 years of mainly town driving! The T3 in the same conditions is returning around 35mpg but better on a run, circa 48mpg.

Re: T3 Oil consumption

Our MY2020 T3 has just hit 5000miles and the low oil warning pinged up yesterday, ordered a 1 litre bottle to top it up.
Interested to see if consumption will drop off, first petrol car for many years so not used to topping up between services.

Re: Does anyone regret buying an XC40?

Hard act to follow from a modern Mazda - I had a top-spec 2015 Mazda 6 which I replaced with a top-spec 2018 C-class Mercedes, the Mazda was dare I say it better! We replaced my wife's 2017 Tiguan with an R-design XC40 and feel the build quality is similar although the Volvo trim is better. As my wi...

Re: Seat memory / profiles

Absolutely. I go to setting, system, drivers profiles and uncheck protect. I then adjust my seat, save it to memory 1 or 2 then link it with key in use in the profile and protect it. Get the other key and do the same. It worked for me. Some on here have had trouble though. Could be where I'm going ...

Seat memory / profiles

Question for you....

Should key profiles be linked to electric seat memories? Tried to set mine and wife's keys up to our stored seat positions but doesn't seem to work. Always happened on my old Merc..

As already said it varies greatly dependent on ambient light. We ordered ours unseen having originally wanted an Osmium Grey car, very happy with it...
