Re: Arrived on the 31st.....first trip out!

Really like the look of this, nice work. Thanks Flatman5 . they are 8-) This seems to quite a trending thing, at the moment, especially within the Luxury vehicle market ie. Porsche, Mercedes, JLR and nearly all of the VAG group, to name but a few and that`s not counting the various owners who pay g...

Re: Paint Protection. I’ve got it but is it worth it?

Big waste of money - Read the reviews. Money would be much better spent have a professional detailer seal the car. If your car is going to spend a major proportion of its time parked in the open in all weathers, as is mine on the drive, its absolutely essential to get the car sealed/treated, prefer...

Re: Arrived on the 31st.....first trip out!

Just fitted the 'folding' boot floor unit that I had ordered from my parts contact at a local dealer, so I can keep the old groceries etc from falling over. For those interested, the Part Number is :- V31484758 at the discounted price of £225.45 +vat, not cheap I hear you say, but its way cheaper th...

Re: T3 owners, what’s your town MPG?

Just completed around 410 miles, so early days yet, mainly around town and getting 35.4, then I added a couple of, enthusiastic, trips to Oxford and back, returned 36.8mpg. My driving mode is set to Individual (which is mainly Dynamic with a few things disabled, like stop/start, auto wipers etc to r...

Re: Arrived on the 31st.....first trip out!

Very nice. I’m still waiting. It’s good to see the little flag on the wing (I zoomed in). I understood that it was only FE that had these so perhaps they’ve been rolled out into normal production models now. Hi all, I did wonder if the 'little flag' would be noticed! This is no longer o/e fitted by...

Arrived on the 31st.....first trip out!

Well here she is all crystal-white and glowing! Arrived Wed. 31st Aug. and after a very intensive check-over I stuck in £50 worth of juice and we paid a visit to Snows Hill Lavender Farm in the Cotswolds. Lovely day and a fantastic drive. That T3 engine is a Joy, really! Lovin` it, so far! :D

Re: Brake lights - Are they LED or just plain old filament

I kind of agree with ChrisLF on this, BUT, I say, there`s always room for a little improvement where practical, especially on bulb/light reaction times, but not necessarily brightness/lumens. Had a little bit of useful info the other day, from a contact in Volvo Parts that might help with Volvo`s th...

Re: Lighting

Does somebody knows the lumens of the original bulbs? For those interested: Original PY21W indictor bulb: 280 lumen Original H21W brake light bulb: 600 lumen The original bulb lumens quoted, is that 'per bulb' or as a 'pair'? The reason I ask is that lumens quoted on the various web sites seem to v...
