Re: T3 owners, what’s your town MPG?

“Whilst on the M6 in Brum, I managed to test the crash-avoidance system for real. I am pleased to say it worked - I would almost certainly have hit the car in front without it. That Sensus system can be quite a distraction.... Lesson leant??” 10 out of ten for collision avoidance. A real life saver....

Re: Thinking of an XC40, some questions though

Q1 Rear view badly restricted and can hide overtaking cars. Made worse by shape of rear passenger door windows and thickness of door pillars. Q2 Rear headrests do not fold down which says not much for safety priority. Every other manufacturer seems satisfied with the push down type that are so uncom...

Re: Is the XC40 a noisy car?

. noise in the XC40 is not that well suppressed My D4 can be superbly silent on good roads but anything like concrete motorways much noisier than my previous Q3. The engine is gruff when accelerating to say the least but wind noise is absent. On balance nothing beats driving my 7 yr old petrol Golf...

Re: Sports exhaust system

Why would you want a Swedish flag sewn into the seam of your seat, metallic paint, a glass handle for the auto lever, leather upholstery, huge laser cut wheels, go to the moon or climb Everest?

Each to their own!

Re: BLIS with steer assist

The rear headrests fold manually by using the levers on the backrest. A small movement folds the headrest, a full movement folds the seat back. Electric folding rear headrests do exist and are fitted in my car. Thanks very much for this I was hoping it would do the trick but the only 'levers' on my...

Re: BLIS with steer assist

Can't see how anyone could miss the lights anyhoos. Can be done easily. The system works fine in overcast conditions, but the light is less visible in sunny conditions anyway and harder with the distracting shiny chrome side air vent knob reflection in the wing mirror with the sun in certain direct...

Re: Voice commands - a list of

But if anyone has figured out how to find and play a playlist or find your favourite radio stations whilst driving with due care and attention I would be grateful to hear. Nothing to offer on that. The system is disappointing in general and on specifics. I cant get Voice to tune to radio 4 either a...

Re: Wheels for Momentum T4

because the 18” wheels look so much nicer on the R-Design The disadvantages of tyre roar etc will be there for the life of the car, while the aesthetics of the wheel design will have long left the consciousness. I have 19” # 924 that came as a free as a dealer fit on a demo car. On a new smooth hot...

Re: MPG - Again :-)

1300 miles on the clock of my D4 AWD and three month check over just done. Mileage is 95% motorway trips over 100 miles, all in individual mode with eco setting but with stop start switched off. Lifetime diesel mpg is 41.3 mostly with the weight of a full tank at start of journey. The best run of 30...

Re: 360 Camera

If you put it in reverse, then straight back to drive and move forward slowly, the camera will stay on. Not the most elegant solution, but works for me! Would be nice to have a button for the camera though. Plus 1 on the need for a button. in my view the Sensus is a temptation just as bad as using ...
