Re: My XC40 - 1 year on
Never had any issues with the need to double shift to get to drive or reverse as some early reviewers mentioned. Agreed. Most reviewers whined hard about this. Never knew why. Two days in with the car and it was like second nature. I do get a a bit irritated with how lethargic shifts can be. Someti...

Re: Is the XC40 a noisy car?
Tire noise on harsh concrete over 100 kmh on 20 inch wheels and Pirellis Pzeros is hardcore and I'm coming from a Volkswagen Amarok with big ass tires.
Other than that - wind noise and engine noise are nicely muted. On smooth pavement my xc40 is super quiet even over 130kmh.

Re: Parking Sensor Question
What should I expect to see when approaching a hazard going forwards? Audible and visible warnings on the rear view camera interface. The sensors start beeping way early before being remotley close to an object so there's something definitely off. I had a similar problem where all my sensors would ...

Re: Wheels for Momentum T4
So, a lot of views on wheel size and road noise. In a vaguely scientific way, I measured the noise from my other half's Rdesign pro (20 inch wheels) as she drove along the A1 yesterday. Took two measurements, each for several minutes, on a stretch with noisy tarmac and one where the road appeared t...

Re: Add Interior Lighting
Yeah I was quite disappointed when I found out I didn’t had rear seat lighting. I do have welcome lights under my door handle illuminating the floor when I unlock which I find odd. Thought all was part of the package. My dealer said it’s pretty much imposible to retro fit them so I just ordered thes...

Pirelli Pzeros noisy?
Hi, So I’ve just recently driven 10,000 km with my T5 momentum and feel the pzeros on 20 inch rims are extremely noisy at anything over 80kmh. I know this may be quite the long shot but has anyone else with the same set up changed tires and if so has it made any difference regarding road noise? Tia

Re: Car wouldn't start
Yup, it happened to me just once a couple of months ago like 6 times in a row as well with 1,500 kms driven lol. Felt like the rpms went too low after startup causing the car to stall. It has never happened again. Recently took the car in for some warranty issues and mentioned it to the dealer. Diag...

Re: Tyres
I have a Volvo XC40 R Edition. It came with 20" wheels and Pirelli P Zero PZ4 245/45R20 103v tyres and they have been a disaster. I would consider myself a careful driver, however, I have had two issues with the tyres that I believe makes the tyres unsuitable for the car. On both occasions I h...
