Re: Key not found message
I’ve only had this message once in almost 3 years. It occurred when I took the car for a short drive following some work by the garage. When I got in the drivers seat the engine was running, however the key was with the mechanic outside the car. We realised I didn’t have the key just as I started to...

Re: Steering Wheel peeling
Update on response from dealer. I called dealer yesterday as they had not responded to my email. Service manager reviewed images and agreed this will be covered under warranty and said he would order in a new steering wheel. As the car was due for 3rd year service in December and needed it’s first M...

Re: Steering Wheel peeling
That’s a great point re hand sanitizers, I have indeed used these constantly after getting back in the car following shopping etc. I think this is most likely the culprit. I emailed the dealership last week and sent the pics. They have not responded yet. Be interesting to hear their response.

Re: Steering Wheel peeling
Good point Re cleaning chemicals. The answer is whilst I do not, I have regularly taken the car to a ‘hand’ car wash to have both the interior and exterior attended to. As such I cannot attest to what cleaning solutions they use, never really given it a second thought.

Steering Wheel peeling
The covering on the steering wheel has started to peel. The car will be three years old in December and only has 17,367 miles on the clock. Anyone else had this? Suspect this will not be covered under warranty but will be contacting the dealership.

Re: Faults - Worried!
Not been on the forum for a wee while but for what it’s worth, took delivery December 2018, been in for two services and only real complaint/issue has been fuel consumption. When I mentioned this at the dealership on the occasion of the last service, the response was “well it is a T5!” Hope you enjo...

Re: Sensus
Strangely I encountered this issue following its last service. System kept rebooting and took ages to fully connect and function. I was planning to take the car back in but issue resolved itself after a few days. It’s been fine since.

Re: P8 Recharge test drive
Ian, Interesting thanks for the mini review. Like you I thought fleetingly about an EV before I purchased my car in 2018 but was not convinced the infrastructure was good enough esp given I do not have off street parking and therefore overnight charging was not an option for me. Been thinking of thi...

Electric Window issues
I’ve noticed on two occasions previously on returning to the car that the passenger front window has been at half mast. One occasion this was overnight. I had assumed this was carelessness on my part for failure to check properly on leaving the car. My daughters who borrowed my car earlier to go sho...
