Re: T5 - Start/Stop

I try to always disable this prior to every journey. It may save a pint of fuel over a year but I think the starter motor must be under a lot more strain. I want to be in a situation when I can accelerate immediately without that moments hesitation.

Re: Can't find a D3 to test drive anywhere!

I never had a test drive either! Read the reviews, found a cancelled order on the Wednesday and drove away on the Saturday. It replaced a 'C' class cdi200 Merc. Now 2.25K miles and delighted with it.

Is it that you have lock on the steering and the ‘cornering lights function’ is being activated? That would switch on the fog light on the side the wheels are pointing and then if you switched on the fog lamps the other side would come on.
Alas BarryH, I do not have the luxury of these!

Spotlight opearation

On my D3R, my offside spotlight seems to be on permanently, and when I switch them on, the nearside one comes on as well. When I switch them off, the offside one remains on. Am I doing something wrong please?

Re: Dash Cam

I just plugged my old next base camera into the 12 socket below the sensus screen it is ignition controlled and switches off when the car is locked. the wire is just dangling at the moment bit I will get around to tidying it up eventually. I've done exactly the same with my Transcend 200, but I'm h...
