XC40s multiplying in Sydney
I’ve had my XC40 now for 2 months and absolutely love it! I’m starting to see a few more in the roads in Sydney which is great. It looks like my neighbour in my apartment complex carpark thinks XC40s are awesome too. So got a nice shock to see an Amazon Blue T5 Momentum parked in the carpark next to...

Sloppy glueing of headlining near sunroof
Hi all, Anyone had an issue with the headlining? Had my car for two weeks and noticed a blob of glue on the headlining next to the sunroof. Obviously the headlining is glued onto the car. Reminds me of how messily I used to glue pictures as a kid lol! Taking the car back tomorrow to get it fixed. No...

Yeah I don’t know how that happened Tyson, it seems a lot of people are waiting 6+ months for their cars. But have to say it’s worth the wait, I’m really loving my car!

Bursting Blue T5 R-Design P* finally in Oz
Picked up my new baby yesterday. Didn’t get as many photos as I would have liked coz I was too excited and checking everything over with a fine tooth comb. I seem to be lucky compared to some other members on the forum as it only took 4 months from the time I ordered to it arriving in Sydney. She’s ...

Re: Ride Quality - R Design Pro on 20" Wheels
I remember when I test drove an R-Design with 20s without 4-C I thought the ride quality was really good. Esp. Compared to my old Mercedes Benz CLA250 which was so horrible it wasn’t funny. Picked up my T5 R-Design with 20s yesterday and I ordered the 4-C and the ride is brilliant. But prob without ...

UK/Euro Spec XC40 Front Number Plate Bracket
Hi all, Looking for recommendations for a Volvo parts supplier in the UK or Europe (hopefully English speaking) where I could order a UK/Europe spec front number plate bracket for my upcoming XC40. In Australia our number plates are generally smaller (around 370mm long) and Volvo Car Australia gets ...

I think I would wait until you've driven a few thousand miles before you go for the Polestar, I've found the T5 is quick enough and for price you don't get a significant improvement .
Thanks for the advice!

Hey! From Sydney here. It’s a long wait but hopefully yours comes sooner than Feb! I’m starting to see a few more on the road in Syd now still rare, mainly Momentums
