Re: Bristol port delay

My dealer was planning on a delivery mid December and during early December we confirmed the trade in value of my current 2018 FE, which was a bit of a shock from the September value when the new order was placed. The details of the financial transaction were confirmed by Volvo on 4th December sayin...

Re: Retailer/Dealership in Kent for a XC40

I bought my XC40 from Lipscomb at Maidstone from a sales person named Chris, I could not have wished for a better experience in buying my XC 40. This was my second car purchased from Chris, my first was a V60. Interestingly when I was looking to buy the V60 I went to the Orpington garage first but I...

Re: Steamed up windscreen

Have you tried pressing the Max button twice in quick succession? The first press turns on the heated screen and increases the fan output and the second press appears to alter the distribution and deflects the air to the windscreen, clearing it fairly rapidly.

Re: Auto Volume Increase/Decrease

I have the HK system in my FE and I am convinced that the auto volume does not work correctly, in fact I now turn the volume down when I park the car because I know it will be too loud next time I start the car. I have been unable to find anywhere to adjust the response of the auto volume. The inter...

Re: Newbie questions

Hi hdasmith. Just wondered if you have solved your problem yet? I know you have probably tried all options to get connected but maybe a couple of things to look at; Does the small globe icon in the top left of the centre screen have a line through it? In settings for bluetooth do you have the box fo...

Re: Newbie questions

Initially I had difficulty with the car connecting to my home wi-fi. I then asked my neighbour if I could park my car on his drive just to see if it would connect to my router and it connected fine although the signal was weak. Interestingly when I subsequently parked the car on my drive it was happ...

Re: Sensus update

I just connect the car to my home broadband router and the update process is fairly simple. You select the update you want, in my case NW Europe and then it downloads and installs. Clearly you need to have the Wi-fi connection whilst it downloads the update into the car but the car can be driven dur...

Re: £350 refund delay

The day after delivery I realised my FE did not have headlamp cleaning. I wrote an email to the Dealership on the basis that I had paid for the washers and had not received them. (I was only aware of the £350 refund after visiting this Forum) I received a call from the Dealer Prinipal by return who ...

Re: Exposed Wiring under drivers seat

Mine is the same, must be something to do with the audio as the cover has Harman Kardon moulded on it. I would agree that something needs to be done about this and I will raise the issue when I have the 3 month check in early September.
