Re: Brake groan

Hi Andygou I wonder if the date of production and batch of pads and discs has anything to do with it. Our 40s are of similar age and model spec. Mines still the same in the wet or in the dry, backwards or forwards, gentle release of the brake on a slope brake assist off, in or out of drive mode the ...

Re: Brake groan

We have the same problem , appears worse when reversing slowly on a slope and stop start. I think its a design issue on the disc brake system or the type of pads used . Its a little annoying and distracting but not a safety concern. Never known it on any other vehicle unless they had been stood for ...

Re: Off Road anyone tried it yet?

Chris that land on Trent bank is all sandy topsoil so very little chance of rocks damaging the rims but easy to get stuck in, hence all the soft ...

Re: Hi from Adelaide, South Australia

Welcome to the forum
Guess you won't be going for the heated seats and heated steering wheel options. the Aircon is very good and I think you will find the higher driving position a better option than the Forester. Had ours for 6 months now and 4500miles without any problems.

Re: What petrol engine should I choose T3,T4 or T5

Personally I have always gone for performance over levels of gadgetry and trim hence have ordered an R Design T5 with minimal extras (gear paddles, spoiler, powered tailgate and winter pack with heated windscreen). Very impressed with the test drive and plan to run this car for several years before...

Re: Pilot Assist Question

don't use it at slow speeds but recently in high crosswinds it works fine and does not overcompensate. Mine is the usual complaint it does not keep central to the lane markings, always appears too close to the nearside. If someone offers you more than you paid for it don't take it, they are worth ke...
