Re: R-Design Pro

Oh also. The car went in for the speaker system... My air woofer was faulty without a doubt, he said it was jumping about. My door speakers weren't touched so it's going back in for those, they agree something is wrong there. You expect a new car to be able to play piano without a metallic, shrill, ...

Re: R-Design Pro

I've asked a couple of dealerships about this because I don't have them on my car and nobody seems to know because they aren't actually on the spec list... What I have noticed though is the people who have got the puddle lights have keyless entry. I don't have keyless and I don't have them, doesn't ...

Re: Heated windscreen

I just press the button once and it turns on. I have noticed that I have one inoperable heater band of my screen though which I'm not happy about.
Another annoying thing is how quickly the heated screen turns off!

Re: STILL haven't seen......

I saw hundreds before I got mine and since, just the one! We both clocked each other as he was pulling out of the road I was turning into... His was a silver Inscription 18 plate I think

XC60 seems like the best rival. Still thinking about it despite that I already ordered the xc40
XC60 would have been my choice but it's just a bit too big, bit too pricey and I like the squat, tough look of the XC40

Re: R-Design Pro

So I've had my car 5 days now and covered just under 500 miles. I'm absolutely loving it, it's very comfortable and the T3 is plenty powerful for my needs, smooth engine, easy to overtake in. Couple of issues though... I'm missing the puddle lights in the door handles I was under the impression tha...

Re: Water leak!!

7 days at the local dealer. No car to drive while it is in the shop. Asking Volvo of North America about a buy back . I am thinking it may be a sun roof issue. But I am just guessing Wow really?! I'm taking mine into the garage on the 3rd for them to look at the air woofer because of the rattles......

I didn't view it as penny pinching, I just viewed it a modernising tbh and I much prefer the app form manual. Easier and quicker to navigate due to being able to search etc
I'm more than happy to search for what I need to find using the car's built in manual

Re: For those still waiting - what other car would tempt you to cut your losses?

It would have to be the new Evoque for me... But the wait time for that one is bound to be terrible, plus they only offer a small diesel not a petrol. The interior looks fantastic, but speccing one up to the kind of spec I'd want takes it to £51k for an SE not even HSE!! Obviously that's because LR ...
