XC60 will have a proven record for safety etc. XC40 still in proving out in the world as far as insurance goes. But i can unfortunately vouch for how good the safety systems and structures are in the XC40 thanks to a polish van driver.

It may just be me but the reversing light does not appear to illuminate the area behind the car particularly well. To the point that I have had to check that it was working at all.?

Don't hold you breath.Volvo blame Spotify, Spotify blame Volvo. Going to ask dealer to got back to previous version then I'm never updating it. Disgraceful update removes all useful functionality.

Just took the latest update, now i cannot add tracks to my library, albums and artists no longer appear. Have taken it off, cleared dara, tried all sorts. Spotify on phone and tablet working as expected.

So i would avoid this update.
