Re: POOR HEAD LIGHTS

When I ordered my T5 First Edition, the brochure said it came with "Adaptive Shutter Technology" Headlights. I've tried these head lights on an XC60, and they are superb. When my T5 arrived it had no such headlights. When I checked with the dealer, it turns out Volvo had changed the specs,...

Re: Harman Kardon 14 speakers vs High Performance 8 speakers

I have it, and it's a cheap upgrade, so imo money well spent. If the standard system is 5/10; the the upgraded version is 6.5-7.0/10 However it isn't very loud; I've no idea where all those Watts go; but they certainly don't get turned into music. It's nothing like the B&W system on an XC60 whic...

Re: Four-C Active Suspension

I have the T5 with polestar. and in dynamic mode, the drop down; and pick up are very fast indeed. There is very very little lag and delay, a proper little hot-hatch

Re: Four-C Active Suspension

https://www.whatcar.com/volvo/xc40/estate/review/n119/on-the-road I couldn't have 4c on my T5 FE, there where no options available. I've got it on a VW and really like it, not for the adjustable mode button (never use it, always in "Normal mode"; but its ability to stiffen and relax each s...

Re: Tyres

Just the job, some proper tyres.

I really think XC40's should either come with as standard or the factory option of All-Season tyres; I'm pretty sure they do in North America.

Re: Sat Nav keeps crashing

Mine has really played up today. I have got "waze" on my Iphone which works on car-play; but i seem to struggle to use my phone at the same time; so decided to switch to volvo sat-nav, and the it just "greyed out" the button to start the thing. So i completely unplugged my phone ...

WOW, is that real or photo shoped?
I like a mod or two, but blimey; makes my contemplated All-season tyres look soooo tame or even lame. :P

Re: Off Road anyone tried it yet?

The last Road Job I worked on was the A42 Asby-Breedon ; I drove (out of choice) a Suzuki sj410 - so much more fun than a LR Defender.
It was great off-road; so when I saw this a month ago I was so tempted to by 2 for the cost of an FE XC40. It's really well reviewed as well.

Re: Off Road anyone tried it yet?

I agree. My chopped in XC60 was nearly 10 years old, so not up to date at all. But this little car in the 72 hours I've owned it, has amazed me. Regardless of cost, I honestly cannot think of another car that would fit my needs & wants better than this little robot. I keep looking at it from eve...
